Light & Textures.
This project investigates the expressive potential of ceramics through the creation of an earthenware cladding finished with a transparent glaze, where texture becomes the focal point. The design embraces compositional freedom, allowing for multiple configurations and dynamic interactions between the individual pieces.
The textured surface was developed through a manual, intuitive process, resulting in organic reliefs that invite touch and engage the senses. The transparent glaze accentuates these textures without concealing the raw materiality of the earthenware, adding visual and tactile depth through a subtle interplay of light and shadow.
